
M2 CNS - Admission
Computational Neurosciences
The M2 CNS admissions for the academic year 2025-2026 will open on May 12, 2025 on ecandidat.univ-lyon1.fr
Prerequisites
– Validation of 4 years of higher education, corresponding to a Master 1 degree (240 ECTS) (*)
– Validation of a Mathematics/Computer Science/Statistics level (at least 3 ECTS in these or related disciplines)
– Validation of a Neuroscience level (at least 3 ECTS in Neuroscience or related disciplines)
– Validation of an English level (at least 9 ECTS in English)

(*): Medical students/professionals who did not validate an M1 (in addition to their medical training), should provide proofs of their previous research activity in the field of Neuroscience.
Time-line of the application process

French citizens, EU citizens and students already enrolled in a French university + non-EU citizens and residents of countries that do not belong to the «Etudes en France» program (see EEF list here),
– May 12, 2025: Opening of the « eCandidat » platform
– June 13, 2025: Application submission deadline
– June 23-27, 2025: interviews of pre-selected applicants
– July 4, 2025: Publication of the admission results (on « eCandidat » exclusively)
– July 15, 2025: Deadline for students to accept a position in the program using the « eCandidat » platform
Residents of countries that belong to the «Etudes en France» program (see EEF list here)
Applications should be submitted through the «Etudes en France» platform, following the instructions from your country of origin.
